As a freelance digital artist collaborating with Steve Madden's social team, I had the opportunity to celebrate AAPI Heritage Month in May of 2021 by creating hand-drawn maps that showcase some of New York's AAPI-owned businesses, including restaurants, beauty and wellness brands, and retail shops. New York is Steve Madden’s HQ. By highlighting these businesses, we hope to promote and support the AAPI community, and encourage others to do the same. I'm proud to have been a part of this project and to use my design skills for a beautiful cause.
